Field and B2B — Working from a Phone
HNR has two mobile surfaces and both open in a browser — no installation, no app store, no updates. Field is HNR in the rep's pocket; B2B is the door through which your dealer sees their own account. Both pass through a narrow gate: they show only what is needed and nothing more.
Field — /saha
The rep signs in with their own HNR user. They log visits, take orders, collect payments and track jobs.
B2B — /b2b
The dealer signs in with a separate user issued to them. They see only their own balance, orders and statement.
The rep is your employee and has an HNR user; a visit is stamped in their name. The dealer is an outsider with no HNR user — a separate dealer account is created for them, and that account is locked to a single customer code. Whatever address the dealer tries, they cannot see another company's data, because which account is being read comes not from their browser but from their record on the server.
1. Signing in to the Field page
In the phone's browser add /saha to the program's address — for example http://192.168.100.24:5173/saha. A single sign-in form appears: your normal HNR username and password. There is no separate account. Once in, add the page to the phone's home screen as a shortcut; it then opens like an app.
2. What you can do in the field
| Action | What it does | Where it shows up |
|---|---|---|
| Visit (check-in) | You search and pick the customer; it is saved with the phone's location, and you can add a note | CRM → Visits tab |
| Order | You pick products from the stock list and enter quantities; a real HNR order is created | The order list |
| Collection | You record money taken from the customer by choosing a cash account | Cash movements and the customer's balance |
| Route | The list of customers to visit that day; you mark each stop as done | In the manager's route plan |
| Jobs | Service/delivery jobs assigned to you; you update their status on the spot | The Departments window |
| History | The customer's recent movements — an answer at the door to "what did you take last time" | Read in the field; creates no record |
The field page is not a "practice" environment. The order you enter is a real order, the collection you save is a real cash movement, and it is stamped in your name. To avoid creating a record by accident while fiddling with the phone next to a customer, close the page when you are done.
3. Location permission
On your first visit the phone asks for location permission. If you decline, the visit is still recorded, only without a link to the map. The purpose is not to track you: the position is taken only at the moment of check-in, you are not followed through the day. Location is useful in two places — route planning ("how many times was this area visited this week") and proof of visit.
4. The B2B dealer portal
You give your dealer the /b2b address and a username/password. Once in, the dealer sees four things:
- Their balance — how much they owe you.
- Their open orders — what they ordered but have not received yet.
- Recent statement lines — the latest movements on their account.
- The stock list and order entry — they place their own order.
Figure 1 — The B2B gate and the account lock
The three questions dealers ask most are: "what is my balance?", "what happened to my order?", "can you send me a statement?". All three are answered in the portal, and it is open around the clock. Give dealers the address and password once; the time your accounts team spends on the phone drops visibly.
5. Security — three things to know
-
A dealer session expires by itself in 8 hours
Even if a dealer leaves their phone somewhere, the session is not permanent; unused, it expires and asks for a fresh sign-in. This protects your data regardless of what the dealer does.
-
Every field action is written in the name of whoever did it
Because the rep signs in with their own HNR user, orders and collections they save are stamped in their name. That is why sharing a password is a serious problem: if two people use one account, the answer to "who did it" is lost.
-
Talk to your administrator before opening it to the outside
For dealers to sign in from outside the office the address must be exposed to the internet; that is a network decision and needs firewall configuration. If your reps are on the same network (office Wi-Fi or a shared phone connection), none of that is required.
6. Frequently asked
Does it work when the phone has no internet?
No. Both pages work by talking to the server; with no connection no record can be created. If you are heading into an area with poor coverage, note visits and orders on paper and enter them when signal returns — remembering to correct the date field by hand.
Can a rep see another rep's visits?
No — a rep sees only their own visits. A manager sees them all. The distinction is enforced on the server, not on the phone; so no amount of fiddling with the phone reaches someone else's records.
The dealer entered a wrong order — what happens?
The order lands in your list as an ordinary HNR order; you correct or cancel it from the Orders window. The dealer cannot delete an order they placed — deliberately so: the seller decides an order's fate.
The address will not open from a tablet or phone
It is almost always a network issue, not a program one. Check in order: (1) are the phone and the computer on the same Wi-Fi, (2) did you type the address correctly (with http:// at the front and the port number at the end), (3) is the computer's firewall blocking the connection. The third is the most frequent cause, and your administrator holds the fix.
